Got it to work with my ball joint press,But it was not ideal on my son in laws ram.

The ball joint set I have didn't have the right tool for my jeep. This set is made for my jeep making the job a lot easier and faster. When you don't do this stuff for a living, you don't know what type of tools to buy but there's companies out there that know people like me exist and that's a good thing.

Used these to replace the ball joints on a 2002 jeep wrangler. The receiver was a hair too small in diameter and didn't quite fit over the old ball joints. I tried to use it anyway thinking the joint might force it's way into the receiver with some pressure, but that ended up just bending the receiver part. I resorted to using the one that came in the tool kit I rented from Autozone. The metal on these parts also seemed way thinner and cheaper than the ones in the rented kit. The angled part was useful and needed though, so not a total waste. But I'd opt to buy a nicer kit next time.

I used this to do the ball joints on my 99 Cherokee xj. It worked well, but it's a one time tool as one of the receiving pieces flavored out a lot from installation.The material needs to be stronger.

Used this kit to replace the ball joints on my 1996 Jeep Cherokee. Without this kit the job was nearly impossible. I gave up 1/4 ball joints in and purchased these. TRUST ME, due to the weird angle they have to go in at, you simply can’t use the regular adapters that comes with the kit. This is a cheap way to make your life so much easier, seriously i can’t recommend these enough.*Included picture of the old joint so the review stands out*
