I used this inner tie rod removal tool to...uh...remove an inner tie rod. It worked fine. Not sure when I'll need it again, but I tossed it into the misc tool drawer for the next time. Worked as needed.

Great help for an aggravating task. Not going to last forever, more for the infrequent home user. Still capable of doing the chore it is designed for!!!!!

The fact is that I have yet to use this tool for tie-rod ends. That said, I've used this several times when I needed to get a good grip on a pipe or shaft to turn it.As long as you don't crush the pipe when tightening the bolts, this thing will give you a solid grip. You supply the 3/8" breaker bar and you'll have plenty of leverage.

The tool its self looks good. Went to use it and it kept slipping no matter how tight I made it. Eventually it worked but it took longer then expected

This has some beefiness to it and the internal gripping teeth work very well when installed properly and removing tie rods or any other cylindrical tube like item. A great addition to suspension removal and install tolls.
