I did not fully grasp the size of the tools in this ball joint press kit from the product listing. They are not small. I have not yet needed to use them on a ball joint replacement. However, I have used this set repeatedly to remove replace control arm bushings on older cars. That's a notoriously difficult job and this press kit made it a lot easier. The size and heft of the c-clamp body are such that it did not even flex while pressing out the old bushings.

This ball joint press is ok for the price. A more expensive set will have more cups and adapters, but this set probably covers most needs for DIY use. It worked for the ball joints on my daughters SUV. The threads on the frame are kind of loose but it still works.

Good complete, universal kit for many vehicles...It is a solid, heavy kit that can take some abuse...But just to note, which most folks know, there are additional adapters that may need to be acquired depending on which vehicle is being worked on. Example being an Explorer, Mountaineer, etc...Some of these adapters are not cheap....Just be sure to do your preliminary research on ball-joint service for the vehicle you plan to work on...Overall , good base kit to start with...

Already had to use it on a couple tie rods and a ball joint. It worked great. All the pieces seem to be heavy and good quality. Make sure to keep the screws lubricated. A dry screw will make even an expensive tool go bad prematurely.

Good quality at a good price, a nice complete set for replacing ball joints tie rods and other front end repairs.
