I really like both of the guages that came in this set. For years I used a similar metal guage but it recently broke. I find that I use the plastic guage more now because of the wider slide piece. They are both great tools to have in your sewing arsenal. The quality is good and I'm sure they will last me for many years to come.

The larger yellow guide is fine but the smaller black guide looks like it’s been used. It’s slightly bent and the black paint is scratched and smeared. Looks like someone tried to touch it up. It will probably work fine but if this was checked by quality control they must have had their eyes closed.

This is great to use for hemming garments. My mother had one and I used hers all the time for sewing projects.

Es ist schon eine große Zeitersparnis.Vorher immer mit zwei stiften den richtigen Abstand messen, dann irgendwie zusammen bekommen.Jetzt einfach den Abstand einstellen und es kann losgehen.Funktioniert auf Folie und Stoff.
