I also like that they're black so they are a little less noticeable than the common bright colors.The nose clip hurt immediately, but it definitely pinches hard enough to keep water out as long as it holds together. Unfortunately, the very first time I took it off after trying it, one of the pads came off. I can pop it right back on, but it fall off very easily.

I ordered this nose clip and ear plugs set to use while learning to do self-rescues if I happen to flip my kayak. You end up upside down under water for a few seconds, and I’d prefer not to get water up my nose during a practice session. I tried another nose clip before and found that it tended to slip off of my nose, especially because sunscreen made my nose slippery. The nose clip in this set feels like it will stay on. It really clamps down tight! It’s actually so tight that I think it might become uncomfortable if worn for an extended time. A far as the ear plugs, I have been using the same type regularly when I mow my lawn, and they work great. They are easy to insert and reusable.These will work great for my purpose, but just be aware that the nose clip really clamps on tightly.

This is a decent set for my purposes. I was surprised by just how soft the flanges are on the ear plugs. The nose plug, though, is not quite right for my big nose. It is bigger than some nose clips I've tried, so I can actually stand it for a bit since it is less tight, but the pads aren't long enough to close the full length of my nostrils. YMMV depending on the size and shape of your nose.

The earplugs are alright... but the nose clip is so small I can't even put it on. Trying these earplugs makes me realize I don't think they should really be in my ear, but in general moldable plugs are probably better. You can still use these but they seem a bit less foolproof.

I ordered this product, because my older set is in bad shape.As with my older set, these ear plugs are soft and comfortable, while keeping the water out.As with other reviewers, the nose clip is tight while keeping water out of my nose.Hopefully it loosens with more use. Better tight than too loose for me.
