I have a small kiln, and most kiln shelf posts seem to be made for larger kilns because of the thicker diameter. These are a smaller diameter, and I absolutely love them because they take up much less real estate in my kiln than the fatter posts. I can fit more pieces in my kiln because of this, and it makes me happy.I just wish I could find more of these in different heights so I can replace my other, fatter ones.

I paint on porcelain and use these in my kiln to prop up wares to enable me to more fully load my kiln. Works great, decent price.
