Some on here state these have the potential to be tight, mine were snug but workable. Very solid piece, the mounting clamps are thick and solid. Worked great.

The only problems I had were ones of my old rusty truck, I had to remove some rust scale and an old weld before it would fit, but then it fit and clamped on perfectly.Protip: if you have to join tow pipes and they wont come apart fart enough, put the 2" side of this adaptor on the 2" pipe first and slide it too far down then alight and put on the 2.5" pipe and clamp.

The 2.5" ID end was closer to 2.4" which may not seem like a bid deal, however, when the OD of the pipe I am trying to put this on is 2.5"...not great.Took a torch and exhaust expander to it to open it up. Once I did that, I used a block of wood and hammer to pound it onto the 2.5" side, it is NOT coming off.Been on the car for two weeks and it had been rock solid.

These installed perfectly and are very rugged. The quality is much better than I was expecting. these installed snug and tightened down perfectly to make it all fell like one solid unit.

Good adapter, the 6" length allows to remove the corroded end on both sides of existent pipes.Installed with exhaust paste for good sealing.The only minus would be that it's a little loose on the pipes and the slits in the adapter for collapse and grip with the collars are a little narrow, I had to double the width of the cut for a good grip.
