A couple of weeks ago I lost boot pressure and got a P0046 code. I noticed the wires were slightly melted and frayed at the VGT solenoid plug. I replaced the original plug with this plug and my truck runs great again. I was afraid I needed a new turbo. I am relieved that it was an easy $25 fix (this plug plus butt connectors and heat shrink).

We have a couple plugs that look like this on the 6.0 diesel.I bought this to activate the IPR and test for High Pressure Oil leaks. It would be nice if they had some kind of marking to tell the 2 leads apart, but it wasn't a problem to copy what I was seeing on the engine itself. The other is for the VGT solenoid.I have these now, to replace or fix or use for testing. Perfect! If you have a 6.0, I'd order some of these just for having on the shelf.

Plug was perfect. I only gave 4 stars because the but connectors prided are very cheap. Especially with the heat environment this will be exposed to. Highly recommend buying your own connectors or soldering with heat shrink
