Two of these fans ruyn year round, circulating air through the kitchen, living room, and a connecting room to both, with another two employed seasonally in summer to blow in from one window and out another at the far end of the house. They tend to last 3-5 years before the bearings start to die, so I buy a new one about once a year and have one in reserve for when the oldest gives up the ghost and jams.
