I followed the installation instructions exactly and when I finished they would not hold my dock box top open. I repositioned the tkp mount about 2†higher on the top and they are perfect! Seem very sturdy but only time will tell!

These struts worked well for a work project my husband needed to build (a huge sign 17 feet by 40 inches). This is our second purchase because the first ones worked so well.

Didn't need the mounting brackets that came with the lifting arms because I was able to use the top ones that were on the down draft table. The bottom of the arms bolted directly to the metal frame.

I bought them too strong and had to return them for struts that carry a lighter load. My advice is to follow the way to gage the weight you need so you won't have to return the product, Otherwise these are high quality gas struts.

Site description indicates the gross weight needing lifting is for the pair. But the instructions are for each. The prescribed pressures and lengths may only apply to situations exactly as illustrated. Any other geometry is trial and error.

have had them installed on a outdoor garbage box lid (6 months) …work perfectly and my tiny wife no longer has issues struggling with lid..would definitely buy again

Le vérin , le matériel de fixation, tout est de bonne qualité.La mise en place relativement aisée même si la documentation est succinte.Et le vérin est très puissant, dans mon cas les deux soulèvent ( soulagent grandement... ) un plateau de coffre pas loin des 50 kilos...

Both brackets bent even after finding the correct angle for use now worried they may snap, was unable to contact seller on amazon to explain it, the struts themselves seem to work well but just let down by the brackets. Was going to ask seller if I could get replacement brackets but was unable to.

Impressionné de voir au montage qu'un seul verrin portait déjà les 80kg de la plaque alu ! A voir à l'usage si ça tiens dans le temps mais deja très content
