About this item

  • You can start seeds in almost any type of container, as long as it's at least 2-3'' deep and has some drainage holes. You might start growing seedlings in yogurt cups, milk cartons or even a paper cup.
  • Choose the potting soil made for growing seedlings. Do not use soil from your garden or re-use potting soil from your houseplants.
  • Some of the small ones can be sprinkled right on the soil surface. Larger seeds will need to be buried. After planting seeds, you have to moisten the newly planted seeds. To speed up germination, cover the pots with wet paper or a plastic dome. This helps keep the seeds moist before they germinate. When you see the first signs of green, you have to remove the cover.
  • As the seedlings grow up, you have to keep the soil moist but not soggy. Let the soil dry slightly between waterings. Remember to feed the seedlings regularly with liquid fertilizer.
  • Seeds need a lot of light. Set the lights on a timer for 15h a day. If you're growing in a window, choose a south-facing exposure. Rotate the pots regularly to keep plants from leaning into the light. If you're growing under lights, adjust them so they're just a few inches above the tops of the seedlings. Keep in mind that seedlings need darkness so that they can rest. As the seedlings grow taller, raise the lights.

Planting Requirements:
1. Lighting conditions: Seeds need a lot of light. Not tolerant to shade.
2. Temperature conditions: It likes heat, and the suitable temperature for growth is 15 ~ 25°C.
3. Humidity conditions: Remember to water it more often to keep it moist.
4. Soil Conditions: Substrate: loose, fertile, well drained slightly acidic soil.
5. Planting Depth:1/4 inch.

I thought it was werd that these seeds were black when the ones in the video were brown. I put them in water, as instructed, but when I checked on day two, the water was cloudy and foamy. Not like video. They were in a clean glass jar, so I put clean water in again. Next day, same thing. Cloudy foamy water. I lowered the water to just enough to keep seeds moist as instructed. Waited.....nothing. no sprouts. Waste of money and time.

I decided to give them a while before writing this. I germinated these but they never sprouted. I did the jar method as well as the soil method. I also only got 12 seeds. Sucks I paid for a gag gift 😕

No matter what I tried. I couldn’t get the seeds to germinate, but the company was very nice in refunding me my money. I was a little leery because other customers had the same problem, but I went ahead and tried it Anyway. Next time I will listen to the reviewers.

Not one. I did you tube first, nothing. They just laid there like one of my father's relatives when you tell him to go to work.

The directions are listed on Amazon. It says you should be able to grow these in a yogurt cup. It should be super easy.Nothing. Not one seed grew. I have great soil. Grow lights and time. Nothing. Nothing at all. I’ll continue to monitor and check back in.
