The provided template plate that you insert the two halves into before positioning is a great idea. This made install so much easier and faster than the old lever style locks I was using. Cabinets open easily with the magnet key. You don’t even need to touch the cabinet with the magnet. Mine can be almost an inch away and it unlocks. I put one of these on a closet door and the magnet still unlocks through the door. Pretty good quality so far, all plastic but normal for child proof systems. Works well, fits great and keeps cabinet doors tighter than the old style I used (baby fingers can’t reach in when latched)The sticky tape is pretty strong but I used the provided screws after positioning because tape can fail or rip off paint etc. You need to be careful positioning it cause that tape doesn’t want to let go though, make it hard to remove.I like that you can flip a switch on the lock and it stays open so when kids are grown you don’t necessarily have to go around and undo all your cabinet locks…. Just flip the switch and your cabinets act like normal.I bought a second set. Love em

These have been working great for my house and a smart one year old. They were fairly simple to put together with the blue dots that it comes with. Unless you have the magnet or you are using the unlock feature with locks you will not be able to get in. The adhesion on the locks work well in wood cabinets. My only dislike is that it comes with only two keys. They can easily be misplaced and if you are in a rush it’s not ideal. However, these worked the best for us. We tried the locks where you press two sides and slide it out. My one year old would walk around the house unlocking things like a game. Lol. That being said these are far better safety protection locks. Easy to open as well for adults. Be sure to keep the key out of reach of your children it can be a safety hazard.

Overall we are very happy with this product. It took a few minutes to puzzle together the template while installing the locks, but easy to install once we got it. they are holding up, despite my baby pulling with all his might!We also like that it comes with two unlock magnets to keep at either end of our long kitchen & how easy it is to open!We definitely recommend this product to other families baby proofing

El producto a primera vista luce muy basico, pero el paquete incluye incluso la guia para instalar cada seguro asi como sus tornillos que no vi al inicio que los incluyera y son super utiles, mi nena se llevo una sorpresa al ver que ya no puede abrir las puertas o cajones y con eso todos estamos mas tranuilos, muy recomendable.

Product is a good design. Pros are the minimalist look. Cons are that you need to get the magnetic part every time you want to open a draw unlike traditional sprung catches. Missing parts and no return of messages (2x) means I've paid for product I haven't received in full which is the main reason I'm a little disappointed.
