The pins work well securing the skirt over the sheet to the mattress. The pins as delivered are difficult to insert into the mattress because the pin point does not project very far. I bent the point up and out ( with pliers) so the insertion can be easily accomplished. See the photo of the original pin on the right, and the modified pin on the left.

My mom and grandma used these all the time on chair arm covers. I purchased and used for my armchair covers on recliner, keeping an entrance rug in place over a carpet, and securing my bed mattress cover to mattress side because it always moved as we used the bed. Holding well in place and hardly noticeable.

I use a throw to cover & protect my recliner, and use these to keep it in place. I did mistakenly sit on the cloth at an improper angle and yanked one out. It stretch and uncoiled significantly, but that's my fault. Anyway, I twisted it back in, stretched & all, and it still works, head never broke off. Good product, good price, fast delivery. Happy
