WARM TIPS
- It’s important to trim the wick, 1/4" is perfect. It can prevent flame extinguishing before the lighter melts the wax. And avoid flame from burning too vigorously.
- Stay away from the combustibles and vibrations. Burn candle within sight. Keep out of reach of children and pets.
- Tilt 45 degrees to light the candle can prevent the candle from extinguishing.

I've used this product primarily to recycle partially burned candles that no longer have a viable wick, or doesn't burn properly because of how the candle melted during normal use. I have enjoyed the process thoroughly! You quickly find out why you must follow the process, as the instructions state, otherwise you could possibly cause harm and/or the finished product doesn't burn as well as it should. The choice of enclosing wooden wicks, instead of the usual wicks, is an interesting decision.

I was nervous about the negative reviews but these wicks worked perfectly for me. I used one in a 3 inch diameter glass jar. I didn’t soak it prior to pouring the wax and it burns all the way edge to edge. I didn’t trim the wick short but left it about 3/8†tall. I melted down remnants of old candles so I’m guessing it’s just normal wax and nothing fancy. This was so much easier to use than regular wicking and the crackle is nice to listen to!

I purchased these when I started my journey of candle making. I prefer wooden wicks because they make candles very elegant. These wicks are way too thin. They burn up before they even get started and they do not stay lit. I would not recommend this product at all.

I have tested a couple different wooden wicks from multiple sellers and this seller has the best wooden wicks by far. I coated the wicks with oil. The wicks produce a nice crackling sound. I used a single wick that creates an even burn across the top of the candle with no tunneling. The extra flowers are a bonus. I did have an issue with the wick not staying put in the anchor however, I used a pair of needle nose pliers to crimp the metal stand to the wick. I am ordering more.
