I got these for an AC-DC inverter power supply. Since it's capable of 30A (360W), and most of what I connect to it is generally 5A or less, each of the three terminal sets on the power supply can carry two (or more) connections, simultaneously. I attach two connectors to each terminal set, and provide a single source for most of my low voltage device requirements. These fit snugly on the post screws, and I can stack two comfortable. These are ideal for two-pole input connectors, inside of an insulated project box. This way, I can mount the female end into the side of the project box, and know that the actual electronics inside are well protected. moreover, I can mount a fairly substantial 12 computer chassis fan, provide ample thermal dissipation, and not draw too heavily on the power supply. These terminals fit the bill, exactly, for their intended use. The vast majority of my connectors happen to be 16 gauge (16 AWG), so a portable power box with a regulated 12V power supply is always readily available, thanks to these.Four star execution.
