First of all, mine are brass, not copper and appears (not sure) to have a flash nickel coating (shiny) rather than tinning(dull) thou it could be bright tin. The bad: brass is harder securely crimp, especially thru the heat shrink and most likely not without damaging the covering. If it’s nickel and not bright tin, it may more galvanicly reactive than you planned on. Nickel is greatly distant to copper and tin on the metals nobility chart. The good: it may also be less reactive too such as fasteners. . It’s less likely to be damaged by a washer or fastener. Less likely to break from bending( I compared). The bad: You may have to fold the wire over before you insert and have a quality crimper. If you can’t solidly fill the barrel with wire, it will pull out. I had to even modify Klein to get it to crimp smaller. Do rip out test! You may find you have to use the non-insulation crimp area.

Good value for crimp connections. I bought these to use on the ends of cell tap wires for the BMS on my homemade ev. They are made of a good material and have a decently nice heat shrink on them.

These heat shrink connectors work extremely well. They hold spliced wires together stronger than the rest of the wire. They will not come apart or leak if they are crimped and heated correctly.
