Normal ring terminals are much lower cost but my new inverters only had 5mm screws for ground wire attachment and they needed 8 AWG ground wires. Standard 8 AWG ring terminals come in 8mm and 10mm and I was very pleased when I found these as I only needed 8 and they are suitable for 8 AWG but have a 5mm ring. They work great.

These are good quality terminals with nylon cover. The quality really is good, but the per terminal price is high due to buying such a small quantity. The nylon cover is ok. I was so used to getting heat shrink for marine applications that I was surprised to realize that these were just nylon. They 100% work as advertised.

used these to connect my charge equalizers and voltage guages to my solar batteries. needed a 14-16 wire to connect to a 3/8 bolt. worked good , looks good.

Excellent thick connector for using on grounding/bond wire. These insulated terminals are of such great quality that i don't think there is an item on the market that can compete with them. As always Ancor is a quality product and I would not suggest any other marine brand for this purpose. Make sure you have the proper crimper for these and remember that these are not heat shrink connectors!
