These lugs are perfectly sized for 1/0 copper. As I do not have a crimper that size, I used a torch and solder. Wadded up some thin rosin core and stuffed it into the bottom. I wish they were all 5/16", it is easier to drill the hole than it is to fill it with solder and drill. The price for 10 lugs with shrink tubes included delivered is the same price as 2 in my local store.

Solid terminals and the heat shrink works well to create a seal. Heats up easily with a heat gun. Using these under hood for my car audio install.

I recently purchased two LIFEPO4 100Ah batteries for a new power back-up system I'm assembling, including a new 2,500 watt pure sine inverter. Naturally this required making some custom battery cables to connect my batteries in parallel and additional cables going from the batteries to the inverter. These 2/0 Ought, 5/16" wire lugs ring terminals worked excellent. They were perfect for the 2/0 Ought welding cable I purchased required to connect my new batteries in parallel, and for the extra cables needed going to the 2,500 watt inverter.Using my hydraulic crimping tool, made for very professional looking ring terminals. I have no problem recommending them from this company.

These 1/0 gauge wire lugs are well made of a heavy copper that is plated for extra corrosion protection. The supplied shrink tube is thick walled with a sealant that melts to form a waterproof seal. This kit worked great for the custom battery leads built for the project. Thanks and God Bless

As you can see by the photo, there is no open end near the ring. That's not necessarily a bad thing, as you can still solder wire to it just fine. You shouldn't have any problems crimping these either. They are quite strong although I'm not entirely happy with the large ring hole diameter (13/32 or 10.32mm) with an edge of 5/64 on the far side as there isn't a whole lot of metal thickness (3/64) to conduct at higher amperage. It should just be barely enough to work with 8 AWG wire, which is what these are made for. I would make sure the entire ring is making solid contact with the post it is connected to and screwed down on.Supplied shrink tubing is adequate and long enough to provide ample coverage and protection.

They are great quality. I returned for a smaller guage with no problems.

Liked how easy it soldered to the wires, used on a fishing boat. Would purchase again when needed!
