Please note: it is highly recommended that you use a battery lug crimping tool for a proper connection. These are very heavy duty!

I'll buy more.Good metal. Easy to crimp. Heat shrink worked well and has a layer of hot glue that melts and seals the ends.Very pleased with these lugs. It seems like every time I need a lug it's a different size than what i have in the drawer...do you have the same problem? Thought so.Next time I need a different size I'll check this seller and see what the options are. Good value overall.

Perfectly sized for 8 AWG, and the heat-shrink worked well.My friend had a large scissor-style crimper (mine will only do about 14 AWG), and he did have to do a bit of work to complete the crimp -- but he's a perfectionist: I have no doubt that the terminal isn't ever coming off until it is cut off. Next time, I think I'll go buy an anvil-style crimper and just do it myself. I think a few hits from a mini-sledge will be all that is necessary and will be much faster than having to use hand-grip strength.

We had to relocate our dual batteries and had to replace all battery cables + extended new cables due to battery relocation. These lugs are great for crimping to 2Ga Tinned Stranded battery cables. Used Liquid Electrical tape and then used the adhesive heat shrink (supplied with the lug kit)...Highly recommended and just ordered a 2nd kit package... For Marine grade use
