This is something that I had never thought of until I was browsing online. Listed as a construction jack, but it's not just for construction. When you need to get under something that you cannot lift yourself - let's say a marker that you're using for work rolls under your couch and gets wedged and you can't get it out with anything like a yard stick (yes, a very specific example that happened to me). This perfectly and securely lifts to make it easy to get to things. Rated for up to 220 pounds of lift and 7 inches high, it's very versatile. The base is very secure, you don't have to worry about it slipping. As you do things around the house you'll find more and more uses. I especially like the step-down feature so that it doesn't just drop things, though it does have a fast release too. And the included gloves are very handy. We all know how handy a car jack is when you need it, and this offers that same functionality for things around the house. It's a tool that I didn't know I needed and appreciate having.

The adjustability and ease of use are excellent, making it a great tool for various clamping needs.However, the plastic handle is a major concern—especially since it’s hollow rather than solid. In my experience, plastic handles on heavy-duty clamps tend to crack or fail under pressure, and this one doesn't inspire confidence for long-term durability. If the handle were made of metal, it would truly deserve the “heavy-duty†label.That being said, the clamp itself is well-constructed and does the job efficiently. I just hope the handle holds up under load-bearing pressure over time. If the manufacturer upgrades this to a solid metal handle, it would be a five-star product without hesitation!

I been looking at this kind of Jack for a few years now, and finally decided to try this one. Let me first say you really need 2 of the jacks for most jobs. As for this Jack it works quite nicely it goes down far enough that you only need about 1/4 inch clearance to get it under things. It is also quite strong and will lift a good bit of weight. The major problem I found with it is the size. It has a large body for lifting , but the rod is only about a foot long. So it only can go up about 6 inches . This has cause problems with most things I went to lift. They should make the body smaller or the rod longer or both.

This is a great gadget for any handyman or weekend warrior that is into DIY. Most times because DIY means you're alone doing the work, this provides a great way of holding something heavy up or lifting something heavy up with just one hand to pump the lever to lift it. Then go about your business and carefully lower the object one-handed again. Very well made it feels like industrial strength and has me thinking it will last a while and some major use.

I like this handy helper jack to have for all kinds of household and DIY projects. It assembles easily and is easy to use. The only thing is the plastic handle. I feel like it will break at some point when using it for heavy loads. You can get the height close by sliding it up and down but then when you're ready to actually lift the item, you have to squeeze the plastic handles together. Without assisting the lift and putting all the force on the handle, it's a lot to ask of the plastic.

I rate this jack as 5 stars because it’s very simple to operate, and I feel safe working around it with a lifted load. So glad to have this among my tools.

Not only did this come in super fast, you can take it out and start using it in seconds! Very easy to use, making things you want to lift, or need to clean to be done with out needing help, OR without pulling a muscle, or two.. Anyone can use, it comes with gloves and added accessories for the complete package
