I wish I had looked for these replacement wheel years ago. 1 then 2 wheels kept coming off the roll out tray two years ago. I checked on Amazon and found these and they worked great. Easy to install and they work like new.

I hate buying China-made products, but this is such a simple part I went ahead. It works well and I installed them in about 5 seconds.

Here's how to prevent the mounts from snapping when you install them into the wheel:1) Put 2 mounts into 1/4 a cup of water.2) Heat the water for 60 seconds.3) Fish out a heated mount with a spoon (the water will be too hot to use your fingers).4) Install the heated mount, ensuring that your fingers won't get smashed when the mount punches through the wheel.5) Once you install the other heated mount, add 2 more cool mounts to the cup of water and heat the water for 15 seconds. Repeat as needed.I didn't do this for the first mount and it snapped. I did it for the remaining 7 and they all installed fine. They use very hard plastic for the mounts, and the heat softens them just enough for the install.

Got the wrong size for my dishwasher, just bought this for name brand of dishwasher. DON'T DO THAT! Take a picture of your wheel base and or wheels before you buy.The star deduction is not based on my idiocy of ordering the wrong part. The deduction comes from the design itself. Easy to install, but they are not effective and move too much.

Was a horrible experience pulled the dishwasher drawer out with the old melted/falling off wheels. These solved the problem beautifully and simply!! Easy to install.

I used absolutely as a replacement for the foul word I would nominally use. I tried to install these two different ways but still got the same result. I tried to install the retainer insert in the wheel but the cheap plastic kept breaking. I then tried to place the retainer on the basket then install the wheel. It also broke. The only way I saw, was to make the hole in the wheel larger, so I drilled them out. They went in to the wheel without breaking then on to the basket. I kept the old ones in case I have a problem with the new ones. I think by drilling them out, over time, theyรขโฌโขll wear and cause the hole to enlarge. This will result in the wheel coming off. The only other way I see you could possibly assemble them is put the inserts in the freezer for a couple hoursรขโฌยฆ heat up the wheels a little and see if they will snap on.

Compare the picture of the wheel before buying. I had bought another part with the same product number which fit perfectly for me so I didn't check to see if this wheel was identical to my broken wheels for bottom rack. Had to return to Amazon and order from an official Maytag parts store located in U.S. using serial number for my machine.
