While not as sturdy as the original (which lasted 17 years!), it fit easily and makes loading easier as I was having to dodge holes in the old one! Grateful that I could order and receive in a couple of days...makes me wonder why I waited so long!

This thing is a complete piece of junk. We put all of our utensils and without the sharp side down, and have taken quite good care of this thing, and yet it is so flimsy that the bottom portion has broken which allows for utensils to fall through. What ends up happening is that the utensils that fall through keep the bottom rotor of the dishwasher from spinning, which makes this unusable. This was a complete waste of money and we have to throw it out now after buying it less than 60 days ago. Because of the terrible refund policy of the seller, this is a complete loss.

I installed the basket in the Frigidaire (Electrolux) FFCD2413US4A dishwasher in my apartment. The basket is longer and a little bit more narrow than the original but fits well. It works better than the original basket by preventing items from spooning / nesting. It's not flimsy and shows no signs of wear in the two months that I've had it. As others have mentioned, the lid for the center compartment comes off easily; it looks like it has a latch but it's too short to work. This means that if jostled, the lid comes off. However, it doesn't come loose when the dishwasher is running. The manufacturer could improve the basket by making the center lid latch work better and having a way to lower the compartment lids (my Ikea Dragon 6.25" salad forks and 5" teaspoons just hang from the lid slots, not touching the bottom, and I wonder if the 'working' parts of them are 100% clean).
