I bought these to keep a magnetic sheet in place over my A/C vents for the winter to keep out leaking cold air. The magnetic sheets were very weak and wouldn't hold on wall mounted 15 in x 8 in vents, but these button magnets along the perimeter were strong enough to keep them in place. North pole / south pole - what's not to love?

These were exactly what I was expecting. About the size of a penny. They come with sticky dots for attaching to your project but I used a hot glue gun.

I have one of these guys stuck to the wall in my laundry room, with an additional magnet stuck to that. My dryer door swings closed whenever I let go of the door, if I bend down and stand back up while it's closing... Ouch. These magnets hold the door open and prevent further skull damage. It's stuck to the wall and not going anywhere!

Glue holding magnets in is very week. 2/3s of the magnets were pulled out of clip on first use.
