Product Advantages
- Studs protruding from the hub offer an easy way to align the wheel when mounting. If you track your car or take your wheels off frequently this will save you a lot of time and trouble.
- Longer studs allow for the use of different width spacers without needed to change stud length. Making studs a much better option if you frequently change spacer widths.
- Using bolts can lead to inconsistent stretching and engagement which may end in fatigue and shearing of a bolt, whereas studs have more consistent torque when using nuts. This not only makes studs safer to use but it also increases the lifetime of your studs and nuts.

Installation Information
Safety:
- Verify compatibility using Fitment List above.
- Installing incorrect/improper hardware can cause the stud conversions to break or loosen while driving, potentially causing accident and/or injury.
- Professional installation is highly recommended.
Before:
- Check that your hub matches the thread pitch
- Correct stud length for proper thread engagement of the nut.
- If you have wheel spacers you will need longer studs to account for this added thickness.
During:
- Do not use impact wrenches / tools during installation.
- Apply thread-locking fluid to the short thread end of the studs.
- Torque the Stud Conversions to 20 ft/lb.
- Lug Nuts should be torqued to mfr specifications.
After:
- After 25-50 miles of driving, remove wheels, check and re-torque the studs
- Then reinstall the wheels and re-torque the nuts

Have had these on for a year now and is still in very excellent condition, makes changing the wheels a breeze. However one of the common things I see is surface rust begins to develop very easily, one tip I have is after each stud has been torqued in a star pattern correctly, apply some silver or black paint with a tiny brush to the stud inside and out, and finally let it dry. Overall very easy install.

I had the problem of aftermarket wheels where the studs were too short. This fixed the problem on my 91 BMW.

I was positively surprised that I received the “bullet nose†studs after reading some reviews saying it wasn’t what they ordered. They don’t look bad and installed pretty easily. I was somewhat scared the metal is a bit soft as I was torquing them down. I’d say the biggest letdown is receiving one of the studs with the threads not being cut. Going to try and take care of that myself.

You can tell where they cut some corners. My main annoyance is the fact that mine didn't torque nicely to 20 ft/lts. The non-threaded area is not as thick as other studs, namely H&R and ECS offerings. So once my studs went hand tight it took another 2 full turns for them to torque properly. It seemed like they just wanted to form new threads rather than tighten up nicely.Other than that, they've been fine. The Allen socket is very tight, which is confidence inspiring. Don't think I'm going to round those off at any point. The threads are nicely formed and my new lug nuts spun on easily. California climate means I'm not too worried about rust. What more do you need out of a stud, really?That said, I'm likely going to replace this kit with an ECS kit at some point in the future. I think the lack of bullet nose combined with questionable longevity means that's the way to go.

Converted my German car to American style lug nuts. Simple, easy, perfect. A little sharp on the leading edge for threading the lug nuts. Next time the wheels are off I'm going to grind down/bevel the lead edge 1-2mm.
