I have used this on 5 projects. And it got the wires to the correct spot.It does not do everything of course. I use this together with the old style metal reel. But it does 90% of the wire placement I needed. The screw connectors are a bit loose so you have to make sure to tighten them or risk loosing sone in the workspace. It has plenty of different attachments for just about any problem.

The 21-foot length is plenty for most jobs, and the fiberglass construction is super strong and flexible. The included hook and hole kit is a must-have, and the glow-in-the-dark rod is a clever touch that makes finding the tape much easier in tight spaces.

Product worked well vs traditional tape snake but the fiberglass links break pretty easy. For the price I expect some compromise, just wonder if a few extra dollars for better quality would be worth it.

These made my job so much easier while running the electrical for sec cameras at my house. especially in the attic. Not only did they help fish through the wall blindly, but used them to reach half way across the attic to pull a couple 15' rolls of CAT6 so I didn't have to shimmy across the attic in tight spots due to the super vaulted ceiling we have. We have two attic access points basically went in one gathered up my rolls of CAT6 and was easily able to pull them across the attic from the other attic access door. The only thing i would like if they were a little more ridged.

I was skeptical but decided to take a chance. I bought this for a few small home jobs and occasional use at work. The chain and magnet are terrific and saved me a lot of time. I found all of the brass fittings to be well machined and had no trouble with the sections becoming disconnected. The brass connectors are a larger diameter than the fiberglass sections which I thought would cause them to get hung up but I did not have any trouble fishing a half dozen cables in an existing bathroom. I bent this in very small turn radius and 180 degrees and the rod came right back to straight with no damage. The rods themselves do not glow but it includes a small white rod about 5" that will glow for a minute or two if you shine a bright light on it. I was very temped to buy a Klein Tools setup, but for light use, and for the price, I highly recommend.

I've used fiberglass fish tape rods in the past, this one doesn't glow in the dark.Once you get past about 3-4 extensions, it becomes a bit too flimsy. I expect a certain bit of droop, but this one just refuses to hold it's shape at all.Its cool for shorter runs, and when you're in a pinch.

I'm a former (long ago) apprentice electrician who turned electrical engineer. I needed to run some Ethernet cable down a wall with rolled insulation. I tried with fishtape, but no luck - it kept bunching up. It was a breeze with this set. And I think I ended up using all of the included accessories. Not sure how well it would hold up in commercial use (I will only use it occasionally), but it could be OK.
