The back of the threaded mat is tightly screwed onto the mandrel and can be quickly replaced.
1/4" quick change shank

The stripping disc made of consists of mixed resin and corundum particles that have high strength.

I use these on a Milwaukee right angle die grinder at the lowest speed and find hey work very well, last a long time and don't shed a bunch of stuff as they wear.

Bought for stripping paint from magnesium... too abrasive for that; but worked great for cleaning rust off a steel swing set beam!

I'm not going to lie. I love using them on everything but the only thing that I wish was a lot better. In my opinion they wear out a little bit fast. Besides that I do love the stupid things. I give major props to who ever ever came up with all of this stuff. Makes everything better than the old grinder or wasting hours hours away stripping paint rust, and everything else. Thanks again

So to be completely honest the quality of these are the same of every one I have used and the price was the cheapest for the most discs. There small but if your looking at this review you are looking for a 2" disk for your die grinder. And I have zero complaints the compound is the same and works the same as the 5" just smaller and super easy to change.

These are better than expected in removing both rust in paint. Because of their size they can easily access corners and tight spots in my projects. I would definitely recommend using these on future projects!

This was the first roloc pack I got for use with my die grinder/drill...for low speed the low quality of the balancing is not as evident, but even up to 10k rpm in the die grinder just the holder itself (no pad) vibrates badly and is not really fixable.The pads in other balanced holders (had to buy others just to use these pads which is not ideal since it comes with one that sucks), the key may be that the roloc connector can screw into the holder in two orientations ie the threads can screw into two places in the holder when you rotate it 180 degrees along the holder...for some of the pads both orientations are unbalanced, for others one orientation is more balanced and may be usable. Even the unbalanced ones might be usable in a lower speed drill...so if you only have a drill you could use this pack, even with the unbalanced holder. For die grinders or speeds over 10k, you might be able to use some pads but probably not with this holder....Given all that, even though the pads do work if you can get them somehow balanced...the fact that you have to mess around so much just to get something this simple to work...means I cant recommend this pack. Not to mention this is recommended in the description for die grinders and you will fry the bearings in your die grinder if you use these unbalanced pads/holder.
