I use on grinder to shine up some metal pucks. So much easier than a bench buffer.

Great product, but be aware it is very quick at polishing, so be careful.

I found the grinding discs were very good for the removal of metal of without being too aggressive. The wool discs were ok on what I was polishing which was quite a small item but would be better I feel on stainless or aluminium.

Works pretty well. Just used these to polish stainless steel tanks and rim interior on a semi truck. The discs are a bit small for that, but decided to give them a try.The pads held up well with minimal shedding. The wool is abrasive but soft enough to not mark the stainless steel if used carefully. They come in a 5 pack, so it should be enough for a smaller DIY project, unlike what I undertook.Overall, if they have some larger discs, I'd buy them.

Says online it was ae to be used on wood. I tried to polish some wood. It burnt my wood. So they are built nice, but the description was deceiving and I couldn't not use them for what I wanted.

These are well constructed flap disks with plenty of wool material bonded to the fiberglass backer. Fitment on the angle grinder spindle was good and rotational vibration was acceptable.Used this wool flap disk with a mild cut abrasive compound and then a second disk with white rouge to eliminate surface marks and light scratches from a piece of granite. The abraded area on the granite was not very large but the size of the wool disk required a fair amount of abrasive compound to properly do the job. Therefore these disks might be more efficient repairing larger areas of metal such as truck or automotive alloy wheels.
