The piano light is perfect for being clipped on stable music stand which thickness is between 0.07~2.36 inches. We suggest that the music stand you used should be a flat slad without any pierced. Because the piano light is 2.49 lbs, you need to make sure that the music stand is stable enough to support the heavy piano light.
Tips: Each box has an original adapter with a 71-inch-long power cord, as you can see on the picture. If the adapter you receive doesn't match, please contact amazon ASAP. Don't try to use a non-original adaper for connecting the light before you consult the technical team.

Mounts easy. Just need a close-by electrical outlet. It has three different brightness levels/color of light. Works very well.

I like that it is simple with a flexible goose neck rather than multiple hinges. It could be a little brighter but then I have glaucoma. I wold rate this lamps a the best for the price.

This is a great product. I have searched many times for a good light for my keyboard and not have to spend well over a C note to have one. This lamp is just what I was looking for. With touch controls for on/off, brightness and three color settings and a great price. Although, because I use a 25" computer monitor to display my music. I had to be a little creative when mounting the lamp (I couldn't use the clamp that came with it). The lamp is wide enough to thoroughly cover both pages of an open music book. I really appreciate it when I'm practicing late at night and don't want to have the whole room lit up.

So, I got this item just because its flexible crane was long enough to illuminate the keyboard of my baby grand all the way to the back (shorter lights will be obscured by the top corner of the piano and will give light only to half keyboard). There is nothing special with the actual light after all. After using it a few times I realized the bad design of the touch switch. There’s no “on-off†option; one must tap multiple times to go through all the brightness/warm-daylight etc. levels to find the “off†and turn it off. As you can guess, this continuous taping will wear the sensitive electronics behind it very fast. At a point I had to tap multiple times to change to next setting and I was not surprised when it stopped working at all.The returning window was unfortunately closed by that time and I contacted Amazon which redirected me to the seller. The seller was kind enough to feel sorry about my bad experience and sent me back to Amazon and back to the seller that denied to either refund or replace the item.Save your time and money and go shopping somewhere else.

My eyes were always tired when I had to see music scores at night to play the piano because dim lighting in my room. I was looking for a lamp that light up right above the keyboard and scores, and this product perfectly does it’s job! I love the fact that it has several lighting options and is really sturdy. At first, I was a bit worried because the weight might be too much on the music stand of my digital piano, but after I installed it, I realized I was worried for nothing. Highly recommend it!

I am mostly happy with this light. It does a beautiful job of lighting up my music and keyboard. Although it has three light settings I nearly always use only one.My struggle with it is that it rattles when I’m playing loud and fast (think Rachmaninov). I tried a rubber sheath to reduce the piano jostling to the light but that didn’t seem to do anything. I’m going to try to wall mount the light instead as it is a good light, but I can’t stand the noise.

I am using this piano lamp on an electric piano - it was an easy install, and the lamp is fantastic. Great quality/reasonable price. Several brightness choices - allows me to see the entire two pages of music I am playing from and also lights the keyboard. I would highly recommend this lamp!

As advertised, its terrific lighting for music books and all the piano keys. The plug-in for power is exactly what I wanted instead of rechargeable battery power. As described, it does require something substantial to attach the fastener to - because of the weight. That can be a challenge with electronic keyboards - I had to attach the light to a nearby shelf instead of the keyboard itself. Works great for me.
