I was working on getting the butterfly valves out of my Mikuni BS35 carbs, and of course the screws are a bear to get out and I ended up stripping one. They are tiny little M3 screws, and I didn't have any extractors that small. Saw this set and decided it would be worth a shot. (replacing the carb is EXPENSIVE!)Happy to report they did the job on that one. I was a little afraid that the tiny size required for these screws might not work, but it got a good bite after drilling the head out a little and popped it right out. Note on the drill bits, you have to run the drill in REVERSE in order for it to work. I think a lot of people saying they don't cut might be trying to run them forward.After that success, I had an M5 hex socket cap screw that was stripped out. That baby was in there TIGHT! Pulled out the set again and used the appropriate size. I didn't even need to drill it out - it was able to get a good enough bite in the hex socket. Thought for sure it would shear off I was putting so much pressure on, but it dug in and eventually popped it loose! 2 for 2!My expectations were pretty low given the price, but really this set has exceeded those expectations. With so many sizes to choose from I expect I will always be able to find one that will work. Great addition to my toolbox.

These extractors removed my stripped screws so easily, I was even surprised with how good they worked. Drill bits are strong, and could drill the hole is broken screw perfectly. Also, important aspect to mention that these tools come in a nice storage case, so it is easy to store them. Would recommend

I tried using the drillbits, but they were not hard enough to drill into the screw. I was trying to extract so I used my own drillbit. Then I tried to extract the screw using the extractor and the extractor broke off in the broken screw. Don’t buy these. They don’t work. You’d be better off having the stock screw than trying to use these.

This worked pretty well for me. The tolerances on the bits could be better, as there’s some wobble when inserted into the included adapter and not enough magnetism. That said, the kit worked for me, and you can’t beat the price point.

I had a really stubborn Torx 10 bolt which was installed with VibraTite. VibraTite is probably too strong for such a small fastener and maybe I used too much. Unfortunately, I stripped the bolt trying to remove it.I used some of the smaller bits which fit nicely on the stripped bolt, but you really want to start with a drill bit that is slightly larger. This preps the surface for the extraction bit. When I went to a larger extraction bit the bolts finally backed out. Amazing feeling.Great product. Saved me some money I would have paid to a pro to remove the stubborn T10 bolt.

Was easy to use and stores easy when done. If you never used one of these make sure you watch a YouTube video since there is no instructions. Worked as intended and no complaints.

I loved this product so much! I ordered it and got it the next day, and I was able to extract all the screws out of my walls that the previous tenant left! I recommend it to any new home buyers.
