This PSA sandpaper is as described in the product description. The description is accurate in that this is paper backed so it will (does) tear quit easily, consistent with paper backed material. That is not to say it is subpar material. The quality is quite good. The release backing separates easily and cleanly. The PSA adhesive layer is very smooth and consistent so the sandpaper lays down and adheres to whatever backing you may be using very uniformly. The resulting sanding pattern mimics the quality level of the backer very well. The adhesive sticks very well but can still be removed as paper changes are needed. The grit size appears to be very consistent as is the grit distribution, resulting in a very uniform scratch pattern when adhered to a good quality backer. This is nice PSA sandpaper, especially at the current price offering.

Backing is easy to peel off, and the adhesive sticks well to your wood or rubber sanding block. The grit itself is doing the job I expected. The new roll is just under 6 inches in diameter. Was leaning toward a 4 star rating because sandpaper just isn't exciting, but am going with âï¸âï¸âï¸âï¸âï¸ because product is as described, does the job, and the price is reasonable.Hack to prevent unrolling: Use a round plastic container that's 4 inches high or so, and 6 inches in diameter. Drop the roll inside and mark the height, then cut a slot in the side up to .25 inches wide. Leave the container side connected above the slot. Pull the end of the roll through, and now you have the roll contained in a dispenser.

As a carpenter, I have used this grade of sandpaper many times. It is really handy to have it on a roll because it be can be cut to the length needed. This fits on many different length handblocks (2-3/4" width). The self adhesive makes it simple to adhere to sandblocks. It adheres well (not coming off during sanding). The 20 yard size roll should last quite a while. I've used it on wood, paint, and epoxy but it can be used on many other surfaces.

I ordered this sandpaper because I like to use this style to make my own custom sanding blocks. Cut a scrap of wood to 2.75" wide and whatever length you want, stick a piece of this sand paper to it, and you're in business. This sandpaper functions as it should; I can't say that there's anything exceptional about it, good or bad.A couple minor nits. First, the grit level (180 grit in my case) isn't printed on the adhesive backing, so you have to peel the backing off the adhesive to see what grit level you are using. It's an annoyance if you have lots of different grits and can't see at a glance which grit is which. Admittedly minor, but it would be nice if the grit level was printed on the adhesive liner.Another annoyance is that they manufacturer chose to use some sort of hot melt adhesive to glue the end of the roll to itself. This results in a big blob of glue on the face of the sandpaper, rendering it unusable there. All the other rolls I've gotten use a strip of tape to hold the roll together; that would have been a better, less wasteful approach here too.

Pretty basic stuff..it's sand paper and it sands according to the grit. It last about as long as any other sand paper I've ever used. The price is a good value for 20 yards. The adhesive bonds well to my blocks and I like having a roll so you can cut to size. The only annoyance is a blob of crap on the paper to keep it together. Maybe use packing tape like.evwryone else so that much more sand paper will be usable.not a huge deal but it's what I noticed. Otherwise great value for 16 bucks

I'm happy with the quality of this roll of 320 grit paper. The paper backing is nice and thick, and the adhesive bonded tight to foam sanding blocks. It cuts a bit more aggressively than some 320 grit papers so it works well on a long block without having to apply much pressure. It clears pretty well too and doesn't want to load up.It's good sandpaper that does the job, and it's competitively priced.

This role of adhesive backed sandpaper is great for the sanding block and perfect fit so no waste. The 400 grit brings that smooth finish for a final sanding before putting on a finish. I may have to order the 220 grit role for the I between sanding and the convenience of the adhesive backing. It is the right size every time with less waste and good quality sanding.

This sandpaper is the thick stuff that you use through multiple projects. The back sticks to your sanding block so you don't have to mess with fastening it down in some way. The paper feels thicker than the stuff you find at the hardware store that you use once and have to move on to the next sheet. When it does wear out, this roll is huge and will give you sandpaper for days. Good stuff.
