I would have done a 4.5 stars but edged up to a six since they do clean up fine on the top rack of the dishwasher. If you don't have a dishwasher, they are time consuming to clean if you bake your oysters with cheese. I might try spraying the steel shells with cooking spray next time to see if the cheese releases easier. Otherwise, they are great. I ordered a total of 24 and put them all on a big baking sheet, load up with pre-shucked packaged oysters and then add garlic, shredded cheese and a little bit of butter. Takes no time to bake and then serve right from the baking sheet. They also nest perfectly into each other thus taking up very little storage space.

Our family loves oysters Rockefeller. For years I have either crumbled tin foil or placed the oysters on rock salt so they didn't tip and loose all the lovely brine, but that never worked out too well. These dishes are just perfect! Even if the oysters is not sitting perfect, any "oyster liquor" was contained in the dish. Perfect for dipping crusty bread. My husband thought I was nuts for purchasing them, but he agreed that they are perfect for oysters. In the summer we will try shrimp, clams or mussels on the grill. I was very impressed by the ease of cleaning them on the top rack of dishwasher.

Bought these to make some oysters Rockefeller. They worked great…easy to clean……will last for a long time as they are thicker than anticipated.

I got them for chargrilling oysters, clams, mussels, etc. they are a little thin, but don’t seem to be too thin they would bend easily. They are quite large and can fit 3 medium size oysters in each one.

I really love these Oysters shells, perfect for making oyster Rockefeller. I use them more than I used to make oysters . I also have made baked clams casino in them, as well as imperial crab. The perfect shell for baking or appetizers.
