The quantity here costs about 1/3 of big box stores, so I thought it would be flimsy, able to bend with my fingers. Nope, just like the big orange stores brackets. Normal metal edges, no sharp burrs, standard silvery finish, and screws galore. More brackets in this package than I needed, but still cost less than getting 8 at the store.

The brackets are strong and the screws are decent and don't immediately strip.Good value for the money.

The brackets are fine. I had to adjust them to fit my not quite 90 degree angle. But the screws are junk. I pre drilled the holes, then using a screw driver, tried to screw them in. First one was okay but the next two broke in the wood. I'm trying to sturdy up a set of 70+ year old diningroom chairs. So I'll be getting new screws from Lowes. Ugh!!!!

Make sure you measure and get the right size brackets and additional screws, as the screws that come with the kit were a tiny bit too long for my purposes.
