The plates and screws seem stainless but the is a strong magnetic pull around the holes. They seem to have some type of insert there.The metal is strong and durable. I bent one of them not only for testing but also because I'll likely need a couple of L-brackets from them. They bend very well without breaking and the coating stayed nice.These will work great for my custom black entertainment center.Good product. Good value.

We used these straps to stabelize / support a stand over our kitchen Island. I only needed 2 and they worked perfect. They are pretty heavy duty compared to others I have seen. Not sure what I will do with the remaining straps but sooner or later I will need them on something somewhere.
