I bought these to fix my couch when the armrest separated from the back. This product was exactly as described, and it was exactly what I need to stabilize m couch. Depending on what you’re using these for, you may consider purchasing longer screws. The screws it came with were too short for my usage. Overall, I am very satisfied with my purchase

Bend easily on flat side, much stronger side to side. Good enough for what I was bracing and reasonably priced.

I don't understand how someone could give this 4 stars and not 5. These are strong. They don't bend easily. If you are trying to brace an engine block then that's not what these are designed for so idk what the heck these guys expect for $13 mending plates. They are perfect for wood use. Thick enough and strong. They came with the black screws in the pics which seem to be M4 x 3/4" to me (or M4 x 19mm which would be the same and my best guess. I say this bc I bought the silver screws in the pics which are M5 x 12mm and the diameter of mine are a little bigger. Both are a great fit in the hole however. So if you are on the fence about these, just buy them. They came super fast, next day, and I'm super happy with them. The screws are a bonus and I'm just impressed by the value you get. These were easy to use. Not flimsy. Good thickness. Just line them up where you want them on the shelf piece and drill. Screws were sharp. Great value!
