This is my first year growing watermelons and I love black diamond melons but the price gets steep when you have nieces and nephews. So, we decided to try doing it ourselves this year, and much to my delighted surprise, ALL 25 seeds in under 10 days. So far, all of the plants seem very healthy. If this changes, I will edit the review but so far, everything looks great.

These germinated within a few days and are growing quickly and strong. They are indoors now, can’t wait to get them outside. Highly recommend.

Only about 30% of seeds germinated despite soaking them before planting and keeping them warm...I usually get 75-90% germination with other seeds. But maybe it's just watermelon - I don't know! Anyway the resulting plants seem healthy, so 4 stars

I had very little success with these seeds. I gave only 3 stars because I cant say for sure something didn’t eat the sprouts because ai was around when and if they came up. All I know for sure is I have no surviving plants.

The watermelon were large sweet and seedy. Had another 4 seeds mixed in of a different variety. Got the first 3 melons, but black bear found my vines, right when the other variety were ready. Hence the second picture.
