Ingot mold does well. Will need to use graphite powder to prevent smelted materials from sticking

I’m not sure if it’s really cast iron the black coating came off when I pre heated. None of my cast iron pots do this.

Laid it on top of the crucible to preheat it. And for a min or so. I grabbed it with my tongs and the handle was soft and broke off. Good size for small stuff. But it’s broken now 🤷🏻‍♂️

this mold holds right at 1 lb. of copper or brassand being made from cast iron should last a lifetime.great for anyone melting metal,

The people that gave it bad reviews thought this was a crucible. You can’t melt metal in this. Most people understand this.
