We used these Metal Eyelets for a custom curtain job. Worked well. Very sheer fabric so might recommend using glue along with the grommets to hold well thin fabrics.

I can't use these without the tool. The tool is extremely expensive..so I bought others

The metal is so thin, it bent as I was trying to them together. The grommets didn't hold themselves in place either once put together. Would not recommend.

These are fine. They're pretty flimsy, and I has to use a hammer and a pair of needle nose pliers to make them work, since they didn't come with the special tool you need to clamp both rings together.It looks ugly but it works!

Sick of the squirrels eating my bird feeder portals, destroying expensive feeders and Perky Pet not having replacement parts expecting me to repurchase new feeders. So I purchased these metal grommets and gently filed just enough of the portal so these would snap right in place (some with a touch of glue) and I’ve not had a problem since.

I use them when I make curtains. I spray paint them to accentuate one of the colors in the curtains. I sand them then spray paint them and the paint adheres quite nicely.

Easy to attach. Bought these for a project. Unfortunately they weren't quite strong enough to hold a heavey weight. Will need to add another one and/or superglue back on where the fabric has come away.
