I recently used these 1 1/4" self-drilling screws on metal chicken coop roofing panels, and I couldn't be more satisfied with their performance! These screws are an absolute time-saver, eliminating the need for pre-drilling while still ensuring a strong, secure hold. The sharp drill tip makes penetration into thin metal panels and pipes, and the threads provide excellent grip without stripping. Please notice that I did not use these screws on thick metal.

They're perfect for the job and getting a driver tip is a nice extra. I'm worried about them being pretty strongly magnetic. I know stainless steel can be eithermagnetic or not, but thought the ones higher in iron content would be more prone to rust. I could be wrong. Time will tell.

Worked well for my job. I was fastening sheet metal to an 1/8" thick metal panel. A little much for these screws. Often the heads would break off if not careful. But that's my fault for trying to thread into too thick of metal.
