I cut off my old one made a few extra holes for rosets and I use it for hauling 1/2 tons. Story time, I knew it was good when I was unloading a van at the scrap yard and they drug it off and my rear of my truck was about 3 ft it the air.

Replaced a 2" hitch with this larger one. For no other reason so that it matches my other trailers and I didn't have to swap the balls out all the time. This had a great fit and finish. I did drill four 1/2" holes allowing me to do a couple plug welds for added piece of mind.
