I didn't have high expectations for these things but surprisingly they worked very well.I fished around in the shower drain five or six times and I couldn't get anything so I figured it wasn't going to work. Finally I gave it one more shot and managed to snag a great glob of hair and pulled it out and then the drain drained very well.I did the same thing with the sink drain and managed to snag a big glob of hair. It sure is a lot faster than taking the pipes apart like I used to do.

Living in a house with three women, all with long hair, drain clogs seem to be a regular occurance. These little devices were incredibly effective at clearing my drain, much more so than Drano or similar products and cheaper. At just $5 for a pack of 5, they offer great value. I used one and it quickly alleviated the clog, then I simply disposed of the enitire thing. Highly recommended for an easy and efficient solution to drain problems! They came individually wrapped. The orange ones were bent. I was able to bend the ones I used back a little, not too much, because they looked like they could break. There was no instructions. But I've seen pictures of how they are used. It was pretty easy to use them. I use the fisrt one in the sink drain, which is clogged from an oatmeal facial treatment. Unfortunately, the sink is still clogged. HOWEVER, THIS WORKS TO PULL HAIR OUT. I didn't expect any hair since I don't use the sink to wash my hair or any hairy part. But, the amount of muddy-looking, gross hair that came out was shocking!!!! It kept bringing out hair. It was gross. I tried a new one in the tub drain: it didn't work. Those hair remover tools are too big. The tool with the little hand like thing (the metal one) didn't get anything out of the sink or the tub drains. I would only recommend the orange plastic ones.

This is difficult to get into a bathroom sink drain. The plastic is too thick, so not very pliable.
