I've come to love these and have ordered twice. I don't have any hair in the drain because I shave my whole body from head to toe, but I have problems with soap scum buildup in my shower drain. Old apartment plumbing.When my tub starts draining slowly, the Drainsoon snakes fix it in 5 minutes! I snake it with these to scrape the soap scum first, then pour Draino to eat up what's left and let it sit for 20 minutes. Flush with hot water and it's good for another 2 months or so. Now I just keep on top of it. No more calls to maintenance.Drainsoon snakes have been a lifesaver. I will continue to buy them for as long as they're available. Recommend trying them first if you're having problems. You really can't complain about the price compared to an actual plumber.

It pulled out the clog in the tub drain, but it a while because the bristles are on the short side. To be fair, the amount of hair I pulled out all together was roughly the size of a billiard ball. At one point, I thought Samara might make an appearance with the huge amount of hair coming out of the drain.

In my opinion, the product's design is one that is both user-friendly and intuitive. It is possible to rotate and operate the snake with ease thanks to the handle, which offers a pleasant grip. Because of the barbed design, the recovery procedure was streamlined and effective since it successfully latched onto hair and dirt. It is a simple instrument that is efficient and needs just a little effort to use.

The product works well. It is advertised as a 30†drain snake. The actual useable length is at most 27â€. Seems a little dishonest to state the snake is 30†when 3†is the loop/handle.

Easy to use, cleaned all the gunk out of my bathtub drain with relatively little effort. You can clean them off and reuse them, but it gets pretty messy. Easier to order multiple units and throw out the used ones once they get heavily soiled. Will definitely keep a few on hand in the future.
