worked for 3 weeks before the parts failed. Cheap Chinese Junk. The positive is it was a good troubleshoot but still had to buy the GOOD parts from MAYTAG in the end. As you can see a section of the new element overheated and sagged into another section of the element and blew apart. It’s a good thing All the lint was cleaned out of the dryer and the dryer vent or at the house would’ve burned to the ground.

This is the second one I’ve purchased Easy to install, but not quite like the original. Have to get mildly creative with the wiring. Anyhow, works fantastic, but not for long. Original lasted 5 years. Last one lasted just under 2 years. Better than buying a new dryer or calling a repairman. YouTube’s got you covered with this.

Our dryer stopped heating, originally we just replaced the fuse and it didn’t work, but we ordered this kit and replaced all the pieces and it worked perfectly!!!! So happy we didn’t have to call in someone to help, my husband was easily able to repair it!

My Maytag electric dryer stopped heating during the drying cycle. The machine powered on, the drum would spin but no heat. After watching all 3 relevant YouTube videos on the subject and receiving $150 quotes from local repairmen, I decided I'd take a shot at it myself. Changing a heating element or thermal fuse or any of the other components in the kit is fairly straightforward, and I would suggest replacing everything that the kit provides.I can't speak to the longevity or quality of the parts just yet, but it's a great start. I would recommend this to anyone who has a dryer that won't get hot.

Primero lo que noté es que la secadora se tardaba más en secar la ropa y segundo duró solamente 5 meses y se reventó!Mejor invertir en una pieza original que dure más tiempo. Vas a pagar más por la instalación
