I'm always trying to determine the size of the hundreds of nuts and bolts I've collected and have been looking for a similar item but have been deterred by their high prices. When I found the 2B Thread Checker I immediately ordered it and have been happy with the purchase.The quality is immediately noticeable when you pick it up and feel its weight which is approximately 2 pounds (1.93 exactly). The plate is made of approximately 1/4" thick aluminum that is tapped with with the corresponding bolt studs, both standard and metric sizes and the graphics are very clear.I believe they offer a larger one that I plan to purchase in the near future. If you're looking for a well built nut and bolt thread checker but are sticker shocked at their price, look no further than this one.

Ordered this to save me time when sorting screws and trying to find the correct sizes for furniture etc. Very accurate measurements and sturdier than I expected, seems like it will last. Red color looks great as an addition to our tool collection. Highly recommend.
