I use these things all over the house. I know what they are for....but let me just say they work great for cleaning the tub.no scratches...dishes...floors... you name it. need a scouring pad that also wont leave behind that green dye color on everything.

I use these for hardwax oil (osmo) application. Great as it is non scratching on wood applications, but not so fine grit that it gets clogged easily. The slight grit actually helps nicely with any issue of residual wood dust even if I have blown off the surface with an air compressor. Great for my application and use in terms of function and price in comparison to the specialty made finish pads. I cut each individual pad into small ~2x2 squares to use as I go. Once one gets too dirty or nasty I switch to another clean one. If you are looking at these for polishing I cannot speak to their function for that matter, however it did not scratch any wood I have worked with including softer Alaskan Yellow Cedar.

Very useful in applying finish for my woodworking projects. It gives a mild abrasion without leaving marks which avoids having to sand after each application.
