I bought these to use in my model sterling engine. They preform as advertised. They move spirituous liquid from a receptacle to a tip ready for ignition. They show excellent flame support properties and you get a bunch of them for the price. In conclusion I must admit that I can’t believe that I’m writing a review for wicks. Also I can’t believe that YOU are actually seeking reviews about wicks. Please use responsibly.

You NEVER know when the power will go off from storm, rolling blackout, etc.At least with wick such as this you can quickly have a lightLiquid candles are stupid simple to makeGet a 1/2 pint mason jar or any glass container with metal lid. Glass baby food jars may work but canning jars are made to take a lot of heatMake a small hole near center of lidPush the wick through the hole in the lidLeave enough wick to read bottom of the jarFill jar with lamp oil. No lamp oil you can use vegetable oilAllow time for wick to become saturated then light the wick and you have a candle.

Used for small oil lamp. Wick does not produce sustainable flame and the wick burns away immediately. Waste of money. DO NOT BUY!

I bought these wicks for the paraffin oil candles on the altars of my church. The wicks are impossible to thread into the small holes of the candles without doubling them and pulling them through with something like dental floss, and they are much too thick for that to be easy.

This is not a proper wick. It burns itself out in seconds. Garbage!
