I tried to break one by pushing the ends together right out of the box. Terrible idea, it just flung itself across the room. They are very strong and light weight, and the dimensions listed are accurate to what I received.

These are good little spars. They are a great option for foam board planes and will even work for servo controls as long as they arent super long.
