I have bought a good number of these kits over the years including some form Leatherman themselves. This is a pretty close second place to Leatherman's own product. The fit and finish are superb with clean smooth edges and perfectly executed bends. There is a also a nice polish on these parts that look just like the Leatherman counterpart.I will say though that the durability is a bit lacking. These pocket clips are strong but will bend a bit easier than an OEM will. The thickness does seem to be pretty close to the OEM but possibly a bit slimmer. For the cost difference though, I would recommend this option.

I love my Leatherman. It's one of those things that when you look at the price tag you think "Would I really get enough use out of this?" but after buying one you find yourself using it daily. A little more for me just because I do a lot of DIY projects, but even in regular day-to-day I've found the pliers, scissors, and knife blades to be indispensable. I'm always looking for new toys for my Leatherman, and while I have the sheath sometimes it's nice to be able to just hook it to my pocket, so when I saw this I had to try it.They arrived in a little box (small enough that it's easy to not see in a box with some packing material. They include the main pocket clip and the little ring.Installation is super easy. On a Wave you just press the little safety button at the bottom and press the clip in.It works! The pocket clip is thick and holds tightly and doesn't look like it's going to wear in much more. It holds the leatherman tight to my pocket and allows me to pull the Leatherman out in the correct orientation for immediate use. Between the clip and the pocket I don't expect this to fall out for anything short of me doing a handstand.There's not a lot you can say about a pocket clip other than "It works." It does.

This a novel quality add-on clip. What I failed to realize (granted, in the description) is it is specific for the THIRD generation Leatherman called the Wave Plus. The Plus has an exterior release button you press to allow the clip to slip into the groove and catch. Same for lanyard hook. I'm way back original gen one Wave. Has groove, but otherwise blocked. So I'll pay a visit to my local Boy Scout Troop and see if the next generation crew has Gen Three Plus in their pockets.

Snaps on to my wave just fine. Holds tight and functions as intended. Not really much more I can say.

Good quality materials and craftsmanship. I put this on a current generation Surge and it fits but there’s a little bit of play in the clip. It’s not a deal breaker, and I’d say is just a good as the genuine leatherman clip but at a much better value since you get two!
