I highly recommend using these flex supply lines on a tankless water heater install. I connected these to the cold water inlet and the hot water outlet right under the isolation valves instead of hard piping into these valves. The reason why I have done that is because when I need to replace the water heater many years from now I don’t have to mess around with all that plumbing. Super solution also what I like is that these come with rubber washers on the inside. Therefore, you don’t have to use thread tape or sealant. You just wrench this supply line to the bottom of the MIP threaded isolation valves.I used a shark bite adapter to go from copper to MIP thread per the attached photo. I’m sure sweating copper makes all the pros happier, but I’ve used shark bite for 20 years almost in My Home and never had a leak as long as you install it per the instructions. This saved me thousands of dollars on the installation of the tankless water heater and even more when it’s time to replace it.

avoid at all costs. Extremely flimsy- no interior lining, the fitting broke with extremely minimal handling necessitating a whole rework of the install
