I got these chucks because my original 30 year old Dremel chuck would scrape the steel in the nose cap of my Dremel Lite when I used a 1/16 inch drill bit, Dremel redesigned the chuck based on what I see on their web site and these are basically a copy of the current design. These chucks themselves don't wobble but the bits wobble enough that its noticeable if you run it with shaft of the bits between your fingers. I compared this with my 30 year old Dremel keyless chuck which doesn't have any wobble. The wobble is very slight and isn't enough to be a problem unless you need to drill very precise diameter holes. When I use it to drill a hole its just for a wood screw in a tight location so a few 1/1000 of an inch wouldn't make a difference.

I use a Dremel tool extensively in my work. It is a real pain in the neck to constantly grab the chuck wrench and change out a tool head. Also, the shaft on some tools for sale is too small for the provided collet size, and can't be used. I previously bought a similar one of these, but it was entirely too heavy and large for the tool and difficult to use. I carefully measured these, and it was, in fact, much smaller in diameter. I purchased one and for the cost wasn't too worried if it was perfect or not. It came quickly and I changed it out on my primary Dremel motor. It is of a perfect size and the biggest advantage to my thinking, is the fact that having that weight spinning on the end of the tool creates a gyroscopic effect that stabilizes working with the tool. It has a huge impact on the tool being skidded off of your work. Anyone that uses a Dremel routinely should look into one of these. Its a can't lose for the price.

Una pieza necesaria si tienes un Dremel. La original que venÃa en un set, se me dañó, pero este repuesto quedó bien y trabaja perfecto

Falsely claims to accept shafts of 1/32 - 1/8". The standard/ most used rotary tool bit shafts are made with 1/8" shafts. Technically, the bits I'm referring to have a range of .114 - .120" diameter shafts. 1/8 = .125 so this should open big enough to accept them. I was able to put a 7/64 or .1094" drill bit in it's jaws but none of my standard (.114-.120) bits will.. I will keep it for my smaller shaft tool bits. The smallest I have are .088 and it works fine for those. You can ignore all of the reviews that say it won't open. It's not designed to do so in the way people are confusedly complaining about. This is not a 2 piece chuck. It simply makes it easier to quick change without the lil tool. It does have a shoulder at the bottom that you can use the tool to crank it down a lil tighter if you feel the need to.Bottom line, if you want it to accept the full range of shaft sizes that it claims to, then spend the extra $ and buy the actual Dremel brand 4486 replacement chuck. I've had a few and they work fine until they don't. Eventually, like anything spinning at 10s of 1000s RPM and manipulating various mediums of differing hardness in a multitude of ways, they do wear out. Buuuut, at least the Dremel brand ones do start out working as they are intended.

I purchased this Keyless chuck for my Dremel model 300. It screws on perfectly to the shaft. As you screw the chuck down the shaft the jaws close up, unscrewing the chuck opens up the jaws. Should work well for someone who has a casual need for a Jacobs style chuck on their Dremel. At the bottom of the chuck there is a place to put the standard collet wrench to tighten up the chuck and jaws. Note: Wrench not included with chuck - use the collet wrench that came originally with your Dremel. The downside to this chuck is that the exterior appears to be made of plastic with aluminum jaws within. I was hoping for a durable all metal chuck. About the same time I ordered this chuck, I also purchased a similar chuck that was Dremel branded. The Dremel brand chuck is all metal and quite hefty. It installs ands operates the same as this chuck from Amazon.I plan to keep this chuck as a backup to my Dremel brand chuck. I don't expect this chuck to hold up as well since it is mostly plastic.

Nothing to dislike about this all metal chuck.I have fitted it to my Wesco (a Dremel-like tool) and it works really well.I can now change the tools quickly and without using the fiddly spanner and changing collets

La qualité du produit est faible. J'aurais dû m'en douter à ce prix...
