I bought this to replace my filter housing on my Huffy. The 1/2 fitting fit perfect and I used a little never seize on the thread. It as quiet as the factory on but lets more air pass. I like this one over the factory filter as you can install it with inlet pointing down for any water that collect on the filter to be able to drain. The factory filters doesn;t have this.

I have a air compressor and needed a air filter but when I got it had the wrong threads on it I need 1/4 '' thread these had 1/2'' thread so I had to reorder new ones.

I put these on my 30 gallon Husky and definitely lowered the sound of noise coming out of the unit.

I had damaged the intake filter housing on my compressor when it tipped over. These are a bit larger than the original, but they fit and seem to be better built. Hopefully I don't have to use the second one, but I'm okay with having a spare around just in case.

Very restrictive intake. This is what you get on one of those $125 mini air compressors so for a compressor that draws more air it’s going to put a strain on the pump. I installed two mufflers on a 1/2†T and installed it on my 32 gallon compressor. It’s okay, quieter than having an open head but still noisy. I’ll modify more to allow more air passage but at least the incoming air is filtered now.

Not the best, but not worst. That title goes to the OEM filters that came with my Kobalt 26 gallon stand up oil free air compressor.Those filters were horrible !These new filters do fit, but they are NOT REALLY A 3 STAR ITEM !The filter itself is pretty good, the aluminum housing is about a 3 star rating, the threads were not much better, about a 3.5 at best. A couple of times when installing the new filters they were just not going on as smoothly as I would wanted. After close inspection, it looked like the machining process was just not that good on the threads(Rough burrs) light brushing with a wire brush for deburring to care of that. Back to the housingFrom time to time I get a rattling from the filters, and while the compressor is running, I will hold the filter cap/top and the rattling does stop. So I know it just doesn't seat tight against the bottom portion that is screwed into the air compressor. But it does work... but all in all, I would say this filter set is really in my opinion a real 3.25 or at best a 3.5 Star Rating !! But until the day Amazon will let us put half star marks we have to put it in the reviews.
